Kevin McCray is a licensed pilot, former US Marine, Civil Air Patrol officer, and member of The Marine Corps League.  

After honorably serving for six years in the Marines as an avionic technician on the Grumman EA-6B Electronic Warfare jet, Kevin transitioned to the world of broadcasting as an announcer and later as a news anchor with Metro Networks, a subsidiary of Westwood One in Houston, TX.  This job included flying above Birmingham, AL, in a Cessna 172, reporting traffic snarls on WERC Radio. 

In 2001, Kevin moved to North Carolina after accepting an aircraft sales position with Carolina Aircraft/Salisbury Air Service, which became a Cessna STAR Dealer. He was eventually promoted to Cessna Sales Manager. 

Kevin started Flyaway! Turnkey Aircraft Sales, under the name Great Scots Aircraft, in 2004 at Charleston Executive Airport/KJZI in South Carolina. He has 25 years invested in general aviation aircraft sales. Interests include flying, amateur radio, and fishing.
